The Chattering Classes Go On…Well, Chattering

Another gem from the hideously parochial ‘British Blogosphere’:

The actor put in jail for downloading pornography has had his sentence cut and will be out later today. As Rachel has said just being in possession of things doesn’t necessarily mean that you are wicked and vile and I would agree with her here.

Mr. Langham’s release will create an extra place in our prison system for that most dreaded of criminals: the Cyberstalker. Are these people for real? It works like this: without the demand there is less incentive to supply. It’s not exactly rocket science and it certainly shouldn’t be beyond the intellectual grasp of a former doctor.

You don’t know what you are talking about, you have been lucky enough not to receive death threats, have attempts made on damaging the reputation of your business, your livelihood. Its just not as simple as people writing nasty things which can be ignored. Your arrogance in discussing things about which you are simply totally ignorant is astounding.

(Edit: Hmm, sexual abuse versus cyberstalking. Yes, you’ve converted me. The latter is so much worse than the former.)

Henry from North London is very nearly as big a prat as Paul up above. You are absolutely right, so ignore both of them!

Oh I must have made it if I’m being dissed by David Duff again.

All I can say is Mens Rea and Actus Reus

I think you should study those terms

And if you think I’m so deserving of your spite and flame why not blog roll me as an example of how bad a blogger I am.

After all you really do have spite for the medical profession that much is clear…

And, as if on cue, the man himself turns up to illustrate your point.

    Excellent own goal there, ‘Henry’.

FWIW I don’t think you are a ‘bad blogger’ and who am I to set those standards anyway but that was a pretty dumb comment and even you, with hindsight, must realize that.

I hope the dispute with your employers is resolved in your favour.

  6. Henry North London Says:

Thank you for your kind words Louise.

As for the comment my opinion stands as before.
    Je ne regret rien…
